On April 27 Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met Guy Teissier and Valerie Boyer, French MPs.

Welcoming the guests, Minister Nalbandian highly appreciated French lawmakers’ contribution to the development of Armenian-French traditional friendly relations. He expressed gratitude to Valerie Boyer for her efforts towards the adoption of the bill criminalizing the denial of the Armenian Genocide.

Expressing gratitude for the reception, the French MPs assured that they will continue making efforts directed towards expansion and further strengthening of cooperation between Armenia and France.

The sides discussed the upcoming steps taken towards the development of Armenian-French high-level relations. In this context inter-parliamentary relations were mentioned as an important means to boost bilateral ties. The activities of the parliamentary friendship groups were discussed as well.

Minister Nalbandian presented to the guests the foreign policy priorities of Armenia, as well as Armenia’s approaches to regional and international issues.
