On April 30 Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met Marcela Maria Nikodemus, the Ambassador of Brazil in Armenia, who is completing her mission.

The Minister noted that Armenia attaches importance to the development of comprehensive relations with Brazil and the opening of the Armenian Embassy in Brazil is pursues that goal. The sides expressed hope that the planned upcoming steps will further contribute to the activation of the dialogue between Armenia and Brazil as well as to the expansion of economic ties, increase of trade, to the development of the relations through cultural exchanges and in other areas.

Expressing gratitude for the reception, Ambassador Nikodemus noted that during her tenure she has made efforts to contribute to the development of the cooperation between the two countries. The Ambassador added that she is leaving Armenia with the best impressions.

On the occasion of the completion of Ambassador Nikodemus’s mission in Armenia, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian awarded her with the MFA medal.
