Minister Nalbandian met the Ambassador of Norway

On May 29 Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met Knut Houg, the Ambassador of Norway in Armenia (residence in Moscow) on the occasion of the completion of his mission.

Minister Nalbandian expressed gratitude to the Ambassador for the efforts made towards strengthening the bilateral relations.

The Minister added that the collaboration has taken new dynamics in recent years, the quantity of reciprocal visits and contacts has increased.

Minister Nalbandian expressed satisfaction that on May 16 in Strasbourg during the meeting with Foreign Minister of Norway Espen Barth Eide, new agreements were reached concerning the expansion of the bilateral relations.

Ambassador Houg highlighted that during his activity he has made efforts to contribute to the expansion of Armenian-Norwegian relations, which are described as being on a rather high level.

The sided referred to the projects being implemented in Armenia by Norway as well as to the possible ways of promoting economic, scientific and cultural cooperation.

For the contribution of strengthening the Armenian-Norwegian relations Minister Nalbandian presented an MFA medal to Knut Houg.
