On September 10 Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Edward Nalbandian received the newly appointed US Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group Ambassador James Warlick.

Greeting the guest Minister Nalbandian congratulated Ambassador Warlick on the occasion of the appointment stressing that Armenia attaches great importance to the consistent mediation efforts of the USA and the other Co-Chairs, Russia and France, aimed at the peaceful resolution of Nagorno-Karabakh issue. Minister Nalbandian also expressed hope that the great diplomatic experience and professional capabilities will contribute to this goal.

James Warlick assured that the United States of America will do all the possible for the resolutuion of Nagorno-Karabakh issue.

Edward Nalbandian underlined that Armenia shares the view of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs countries to reach an exceptionally peaceful resolution of the issue based on the principles and elements presented by the Co-Chair countries as an integrated whole.

Minister Nalbandian and Ambassador Warlick had a thorough discussion on different issues of the negotiation process.
