Minister of Foreign Affairs received the Deputy Secretary General for the EU European External Action Service (EEAS)

On September 13 Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Edward Nalbandian received the Deputy Secretary General for the EU European External Action Service (EEAS) Helga Schmid

Turning to the long way passed from the beginning of the Eastern Partnership the sides stated that during these years the Eastern Partnership has evolved into a active format of cooperation and a triggering tool for reforms in the member states.

Minister Nalbandian pointed that Armenia is intended to continue intensive collaboration with the EU in all possible directions and organization of the EaP informal Ministerial dialogue in Yerevan before Vilnius summit is a proof of it.

Helga Schmid conveyed the greetings of Catherine Ashton, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy for the European Union, and expressed gratitude to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia for the warm reception stating that the European Union is looking forward to continue cooperation with Armenia.

During the meeting a change of ideas concerning issues of current international agenda took place.
