On October 17 Minister of Foreign Affairs received Beatriz Paglieri, the Foreign Trade Secretary of Argentina who visited Armenia to take part in the Armenian-Argentinean business forum.

Greeting the guest Minister Nalbandian expressed confidence about cooperation between Armenia and Argentina in different areas and stated that the Armenian community of Argentina has its important contribution to this process.

Expressing gratitude for the reception Beatriz Paglieri noted that Argentina is interested in developing comprehensive collaboration with Armenia and the visit of a high level Argentinean business delegation and the business forum are an evidence to that.

During the meeting the sides had an exchange of views concerning the ways of triggering the economic cooperation between the countries. The partnership in the areas of agriculture, light industry, food manufacturing, pharmaceutics and tourism was particularly underlined.

Both sides stated that the facilitation of visa regime is an important factor in expanding collaboration and exchanges.
