Minister of Foreign Affairs received the NATO Secretary General’s Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia

On October 17 Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received James Appathurai, NATO Secretary General’s Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia.
Greeting the guest, the Foreign Minister positively assessed the results of Armenia-NATO partnership in different areas.

During the conversation the sides touched upon several agenda issues of Armenia and the North-Atlantic alliance - cooperation within the framework of the Partnership for Peace, The Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council (EAPC) and Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP).

Minister of Foreign Affairs presented the latest developments of Nagorno-Karabakh issue to the guest. In this context NATO Secretary General’s Special Representative reaffirmed the support of NATO to the efforts made by the Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group.

During the meeting the sides had an exchange of ideas concerning several regional issues.
