On October 22 Yuri Fedotov, the UN Under-Secretary-General, the Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and Director-General of the UN Office at Vienna UNOV, visited Tsitsernakaberd.

The UN Under-Secretary General laid wreath on the Memorial of the victims of the Armenian Genocide and put flowers near the Eternal flame and hold a minute of silence in honor of the innocent victims of the Genocide.

Afterwards Yuri Fedotov together with Hayk Demoyan, the Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, visited the Museum of the Armenian Genocide where documents and historical records affirming the fact of the Genocide where shown to the guest.

Yuri Fedotov signed the Memory book of the Museum.
