On October 22 Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Edward Nalbandian met Yuri Fedotov, the UN Under-Secretary-General, the Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and Director-General of the UN Office at Vienna UNOV.

During the meeting the sides touched upon the implementation of 2012-2015 strategy of the fight against drugs for the Southern Caucasus and Central Asia. The sides stressed the importance of the consolidation of the efforts of international community in preventing illegal drug circulation.

Edward Nalbandian and Yuri Fedotov discussed the participation of Armenia in the upcoming conference organized by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).

The UN Under-Secretary highly appreciated the intensive cooperation established between the UN Office at Vienna and the Armenian Mission to Vienna.
