The Ambassador of Morocco presented the copy of the credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs

On October 28 Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Edward Nalbandian received the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco Mina Tunsi (residence in Kiev) on the occasion of presenting the credentials.

Congratulating the Ambassador on the occasion of the appointment Minister Nalbandian stated that the development of the relations with the Arab countries is one of the priorities of the Armenian foreign policy. He also expressed hope that the Ambassador will contribute to expanding traditional friendly ties between our countries.

Expressing gratitude for the reception Ambassador Tunsi noted that Morocco is interested in improving relations with Armenia and assured that she will direct her efforts to the progress in different aspects of bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting the sides touched upon the issue of developing bilateral ties- expanding legal framework, holding of consultations between the Foreign Ministries, cooperation in the framework of the international organizations and activation of trade and economic relations.

Minister Nalbandian presented the efforts of Armenia and the international community for the resolution of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
