Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Energy and Natural resources of Armenia were present at the inauguration ceremony of the President of Georgia.

On November 17 Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian and Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Armen Movsisyan were present at the inauguration ceremony of Georgi Margvelashvili, the newly elected President of Georgia.

After the ceremony Georgi Margvelashvili received the Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian and the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Armen Movsisyan.

Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian conveyed the congratulations of the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan and the invitation to visit Armenia to the President of Georgia.

Georgi Margvelashvili expressed confidence for the high-level relations between Armenia and Georgia expressing assurance that they can be further deepened and enhanced by the efforts of the countries.

The sides discussed questions concerning the Armenian-Georgian bilateral relations, economic cooperation, the upcoming session of the intergovernmental commission, inter-parliamentary partnership as well as issues concerning the Armenians of Georgia.

Georgi Margvelashvili asked to convey his best wishes to President Serzh Sargsyan.
On the same day Edward Nalbandian and Armen Movsisyan met the Prime Minister of Georgia Bidzina Ivanishvili.

During the meeting the sides touched upon the implementation of the arrangements made between the Heads of the two countries.

On November 17 morning the meeting between the Foreign Ministers of Armenia Edward Nalbandian and Maya Panjikidze took place during which the sides had a detailed exchange of views concerning agenda issues of the Armenian-Georgian relations.
