On November 20 Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia met Laurent Corbaz, the Head of operation for Europe and Central Asia of the ICRC.

Greeting the guest Minister Nalbandian stressed the important humanitarian role of the ICRC in the areas which have suffered from conflict, and pointed that Armenia highly appreciates the intensive cooperation established with the Organization.

Expressing gratitude for the reception and the appraisal of the activities of the ICRC Laurent Corbaz underlined that since the day of its establishment, the ICRC has been an independent and neutral Organization with a goal to help people who are in crisis situation.

Edward Nalbandian expressed satisfaction about the humanitarian activities of the ICRC in the context of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

The sides had a detailed discussion on the cooperation between Armenia and ICRC.
