On November 21 Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian received the newly-appointed Ambassador of Denmark Merete Juhl (residence in Kiev) on the occasion of presenting the copies of credentials.

Congratulating the Ambassador upon the appointment Minister Nalbandian wished her success in her responsible mission and underlined that Armenia is interested to expand and deepen relations with Denmark and the opening of the Embassy of Armenia in Copenhagen in 2011 is an evidence of this, after which the cooperation has activated.

Expressing gratitude for the reception Ambassador Juhl assured that she will do her best to enhance and develop Armenian-Danish partnership.

The sides also discussed ways of developing political, economic, inter-parliamentary, educational, cultural collaboration and stressed the importance of expanding the legal framework.

During the meeting the sides also had an exchange of thoughts on Armenia-EU cooperation.
