On November 27 Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia received Sorin Vasile, the newly appointed Ambassador of Romania, on the occasion of handing the copies of credentials.

Minister Nalbandian, congratulating the Ambassador on his appointment, stressed that the Ministry would support his efforts aimed at the strengthening of the Armenian-Romanian relations.

Expressing gratitude for the reception, Ambassador Vasile assured that he would do his utmost to enhance the cooperation between the two countries.

The sides discussed various questions of bilateral agenda.

Minister Nalbandian presented the efforts made by Armenia and international community towards the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, underlining the importance of supporting the efforts of Minsk Group Co-Chairs.
