Minister of Foreign Affairs received the special envoy of New Zealand

On December 3 Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nabandian received Jim Bolger, the Special Envoy of the Prime Minister of New Zealand.

Welcoming the guest Minister Nabandian stated that recently Armenian-New Zealand ties have activated and his visit to New Zealand last year and the appointment of the First Ambassador of New Zealand to Armenia is an evidence of this.

Expressing gratitude for the reception Jim Bolger stated that New Zealand attaches importance to the development of relations with Armenia and wants to make practical steps in that direction.

The sides also discussed the development of political, economic and trade relations, cooperation in the framework of the international organizations and the ways of expanding the legal framework.

Minister Nalbandian presented the efforts of Armenia and the international community towards the resolution of Nagorno-Karabakh issue.

During the meeting the sides also had an exchange of views concerning numerous issues of international and regional agenda.
