On December 7 Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian received the members of the ''France-Armenia'' friendship group of the National Assembly of France led by the Head of the group Rene Ruquet.

Welcoming the guests Minister Nalbandian highly appreciated the regular visits of the parliamentary group to Armenia and Artsakh and expressed gratitude for their consistent efforts in enhancing Armenian-French friendship and the privileged relations.

During the conversation both sides expressed their satisfaction for the deepening of partnership in different areas of the cooperation between Armenia and France where parliamentary and decentralized formats have an important role.

Upon the request of the guests Minister Nalbandian presented in detail the recent developments in the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process.

The sides also exchanged views concerning relations between Armenia and the European Union.

In the meeting the Head of the ''Armenia-France'' friendship group of the National Assembly of Armenia Ara Babloyan was also present.
