On December 22 in Paris Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian held the traditional ambassadorial meeting of the Armenian Ambassadors and Permanent representatives accredited to the European countries and international organizations.

At the meeting the implementation of the directives of the President of Armenia was discussed.

The Heads of Armenian diplomatic missions presented the processes underway in respective countries and the international organizations of their accreditation as well as the efforts undertaken for the improvement of ties with Armenia.

Edward Nalbandian discussed with the Ambassadors the recent developments in the foreign policy of Armenia, summarized the work done in 2013 and gave appropriate directives for the work to be implemented next year.

At the meeting the Minister particularly underlined the importance of the further development of the political dialogue with the European countries and institutions and touched upon the economic dimension of the work of the Embassies, improvement of inter-parliamentary relations, expanding of decentralized cooperation and the work with the NGO’s and in PR field of the host countries.
