On January 22 Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Edward Nalbandian received Ambassador Herman Schaper, the special envoy of the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Netherlands.

Welcoming the guest Minister Nalbandian recalled his meeting with the Foreign Minister of the Netherlands Frans Timmermans in Strasbourg in May of the previous year as well as the conversation on proposed efforts towards deepening of the bilateral relations.

Expressing gratitude for the reception Ambassador Schaper conveyed greetings of the Dutch Foreign Minister Timmermans to Edward Nalbandian and reaffirmed his country’s interest in developing ties with Armenia.

During the meeting the sides touched upon the questions of partnership between the two countries in different areas and discussed cooperation in the framework of international organizations particularly underlining the importance of protecting each other’s candidacies.

Edward Nalbandian asked to convey to his Dutch counterpart his best wishes and the invitation to visit Armenia.
