On March 31 Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian who paid a working visit to Brussels met Didier Reynders, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belgium.

Welcoming Armenian Foreign Minister, the Belgian Foreign Minister expressed gratitude for accepting the invitation to take part in the International conference on Genocide Prevention stressing the importance of Armenia’s participation.

The Armenian and Belgian Foreign Ministers discussed questions concerning development of bilateral relations and touched upon the ways for activation of political dialogue between the two countries.

The sides also had an exchange of views on Armenia-EU cooperation.
The Ministers also focused their attention on the issues of international agenda- Ukrainian crisis, developments around Iranian nuclear program, deteriorating humanitarian situation in Syria.

Edward Nalbandian presented to his Belgian counterpart the efforts of Armenia and international community towards the peaceful settlement of Nagorno-Karabakh issue.
