On April 16 Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received Angelo Gnadinger, Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office for the South Caucasus.

Minister Nalbandian and Special Representative Gnädinger discussed preparatory works of the upcoming visit of Didier Burkhalter, the President of the Swiss Confederation, OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, to Armenia.

The sides welcomed the high-level of the Armenian-Swiss political dialogue, the dynamics of the development of comprehensive cooperation in the frameworks of the OSCE Swiss Chairmanship.

Edward Nalbandian and Angelo Gnädinger exchanged thoughts concerning the OSCE agenda issues, initiatives of the Swiss Chairmanship.

Minister Nalbandian presented the efforts of Armenia and the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs towards the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh issue. In this context Angelo Gnädinger reaffirmed the Swiss Chairmanship's full support to the activities of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs.

During the meeting exchange of views took place on international and regional issues, in particular, efforts towards the resolution of the Ukrainian crisis.
