On April 23 Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian met with the Minister of National Defense of Lithuania Juozas Olekas who is in Yerevan on an official visit.

Welcoming the guest Foreign Minister Nalbandian mentioned with satisfaction the dynamic development of the relations between the two states and bilateral readiness for their further expansion and deepening. He also added that the interaction between the Defense Ministries of Armenia and Lithuania had an important contribution to the process of development of relations between the two countries.

Expressing gratitude for the reception Minister Olekas stressed the high level of Armenian-Lithuanian interstate relations and expressed confidence about their further expansion.
During the conversation exchange of thoughts took place over Armenia – European Union cooperation, regional issues.
