On July 2 a meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Artsakh Edward Nalbandian and Karen Mirzoyan respectively took place in Yerevan.

The sides discussed issues related to the current stage of the negotiations over the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh issue.

Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Karabakh shared the view, that Baku’s purposeful provocations aimed at the escalation of tensions along the Nagorno-Karabakh Line of Contact and on the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border and the bellicose rhetoric and statements, that distort the essence of the conflict, voiced by the Azerbaijani leadership on high-level, once again reveal Azerbaijan’s destructive behavior that hinders the progress in talks.
