Today Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received the Lithuanian Parliamentary delegation headed by Dalia Koudyte, the Head of the Inter-parliamentary friendship group of Lithuanian Seimas with the National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh.

Welcoming the guests Minister Nalbandian stressed the importance of their activities directed towards the development of Armenian-Lithuanian relations and enhancement of parliamentary ties. The Minister stressed with satisfaction that Armenia and Lithuania intensively cooperate and there are occasional high-level visits.

Edward Nalbandian particularly underlined the importance of functioning of the Inter-parliamentary friendship group of the Lithuanian Parliament with the National Assembly of the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh.

Expressing gratitude for the reception and the high assessment of their activities, the Lithuanian MP’s assured that they will continue their activities towards further enhancement of Armenian-Lithuanian relations.

During the conversation the sides also had an exchange of views concerning Armenia-EU cooperation and a number of international and regional issues.

Minister Nalbandian briefed the guests about the efforts of Armenia and the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair Countries towards the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh issue.
