On December 29, Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian visited N military unit of the RA Armed Forces.

Arriving at the unit, Edward Nalbandian laid wreath at Sparapet Vazgen Sargsyan’s bust.

Foreign Minister took a tour in the unit, got acquainted with the conditions of service of the soldiers.

Afterwards, in the conference hall of the unit, Edward Nalbandian met the officers and soldiers, answered numerous questions on Armenia’s foreign policy, talked about the preparatory works of the Centenary of the Armenian Genocide, relations with neighbouring states, pressing regional issues.

Congratulating the soldiers on the New Year and Christmas, Edward Nalbandian mentioned, that they spend traditional family holidays apart from their families, as they undertake the sacred mission of defending the Motherland – securing peaceful life and development of our people and state. Minister Nalbandian wished peaceful service, successes to officers and soldiers, stressing that it is their success that defines the strength and power of our Armed Forces. The Minister wished good and successful years, and a service, which can bring pride to their families and be delighted with news received from the Army.

Edward Nalbandian assured that the Armenian diplomats would continue exerting their efforts to ensure the strengthening of lasting peace and stability.
