On February 6, 51st Munich Security Conference commenced, attended by dozens of Heads of States and Governments, Foreign Ministers, CEOs of large corporations and research institutes.

On the margins of the conference, Edward Nalbandian met OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier.

During the meeting, the recent developments in the Nagorno-Karabakh peace talks were thoroughly discussed.

The sides touched upon the continuous efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs towards peaceful settlement of the issue.

Edward Nalbandian and Lamberto Zannier expressed concern over the recent escalation of the situation, and stressed the importance of steps, directed at the reduction of tensions in the region.

Various issues concerning different spheres of the OSCE activity were on the agenda of the meeting.

Edward Nalbandian and Lamberto Zannier touched upon the activities of the OSCE Office in Yerevan and the projects implemented by the latter.
