The Foreign Minister of Armenia met the President of the National Assembly of Slovenia

On March 10, Edward Nalbandian who is in Ljubljana, visited the National Assembly of Slovenia, where he had a meeting with the President of Parliament Milan Brglez.

During the meeting, issues related to the development of Armenian-Slovenian relations, cooperation between Parliaments of the two states were discussed. In this regard importance was attached to the creation of Friendship Groups in the Parliaments of the two countries.

The sides reflected on the collaboration of delegations of Armenia and Slovenia in the parliamentary assemblies of international organizations.

Edward Nalbandian presented the efforts of Armenia and the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs towards peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh issue, stressed the importance of supporting them.

The meeting with State Secretary of Government Janez Lenarčič was on the agenda of Armenian Foreign Minister's visit.

Welcoming the visit of Foreign Minister of Armenia to Slovenia, Janez Lenarčič mentioned, that the Government is ready to undertake further steps towards strengthening of bilateral relations.

During the meeting, views were exchanged over a number of regional issues.

In the frameworks of the visit Minister Nalbandian gave interviews to prominent Slovenian “Delo" and“Dnevnik” newspapers.
