On March 12, an exhibition, dedicated to the Armenian Genocide and the Assyrian Sayfo, was opened at the public library of Almelo, the Netherlands. The exhibition was organized by “1915” Committee, which was founded by the Armenian and Syriac communities.

Leader of Christian Union party Arie Slob, Ambassador of Armenia to the Netherlands Dziunik Aghajanian and representative of Armenian National Committee Minas Arsenyan delivered welcoming speeches.

8 components of the genocide of the beginning of the XX century, geography of the Armenian Genocide, front-page coverage of Armenian massacres and genocide by world media, as well as data on the Assyrian Sayfo were displayed at the exhibition.

Exhibition is opened by March 21.
