On March 19, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Edward Nalbandian received a delegation, headed by official broadcast of Francophonie TV5MONDE Europe Managing Director Diane Couderc.

During the meeting, importance was attached to the preparation of TV programmes about Armenia – one of the most active members of the International Organization of La Francophonie. In this context, TV5Monde input was stressed on presenting Armenia in the member states of the Francophone family.

The role of TV channel in spreading of the French Language, contributing to the inter-cultural dialogue and Francophone states cooperation was mutually highlighted.

Possibilities for broadcasting of TV5Monde programmes in Armenia were touched upon at the meeting.
