Armenia celebrates International Francophonie Day

On March 20, Armenia yet again celebrates International Francophonie Day. In this regard, 2 month in a row, from March 3 through April 30, more than 550 cultural, artistic, educational and university events will be organized in Yerevan and other regions of Armenia.

Under coordination of Ministry of Foreign Affairs their participation to the organization of celebrations brought National Assembly of Armenia, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Education and Science, Yerevan City Hall, local self-government bodies of Armenia, Union of Communities of Armenia.

Considerable input to the realization of the program of events of two-month Francophonie season was brought by diplomatic missions of member and observer states of International Organization of La Francophonie, particularly, Embassies of France, Switzerland, Lithuania, Poland and Greece, as well as Universities of Armenia and civil society.
