The event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in Warsaw

On March 24, an event entitled “Armenia the first Christian state”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, was organized in Warsaw in cooperation with Education workers “Solidarity” Union, the Embassy of Armenia in Poland and Armenian-Polish Foundation.

Ambassador of Armenia to Poland Edgar Ghazaryan, Heads of Mokotow and Ursynow administrative districts of Warsaw, chief pastor of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Poland Fr. Tachat Tsaturyan and Secretary of the Armenian Holy Apostolic Church Babken Khanzadyan, members of Armenian-Polish Foundation, representatives of cultural organizations and NGOs of the Armenian community of Poland, diplomats, intelligentsia and journalists attended the event.

During the event, Professor Witold Wasilewski read a lecture on the history of the Armenian people and the Armenian Genocide, then sacred songs were performed by the Armenian choir.
