On April 13, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation Aleksey Meshkov, who is in Yerevan to participate at consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs.

Welcoming the guest, Minister Nalbandian commended the established effective cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Russia which is an integral part of the Armenian-Russian allied relations. The Minister attached importance to the cooperation within international organizations, stressing that his visit to Moscow during the previous week presented a good opportunity to reflect on issues in this field of cooperation as well.

Expressing gratitude for the reception, Aleksey Meshkov touched upon the results of consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs.

During the meeting, thoughts were exchanged on bilateral interaction within European organizations, cooperation between Armenia and Russia with the European structures.
