On April 13, Minister Edward Nalbandian received newly-appointed Ambassador of Ireland to Armenia John Biggar, on the occasion of handing over copies of his credentials.

Congratulating the Ambassador, Minister Nalbandian expressed hope that the Ambassador will bring his important input in the development of relations between the two friendly countries.

Expressing gratitude for the reception and good wishes, Ambassador Biggar assured that he will spare no effort towards deepening of the Armenian-Irish cooperation.

During the meeting, thorough exchange of thoughts was held on the activation of political dialogue between Armenia and Ireland, enhancement of the legal framework, development of the inter-parliamentary ties.

At the meeting, a range of international issues were touched upon.
