On April 15, commemoration meeting was held at the Embassy of Armenia in the United Arab Emirates, in the frameworks of the events dedicated to the Centenary of the Armenian Genocide.

In his welcoming remarks, Ambassador of Armenia to the United Arab Emirates Gegham Gharibjanian presented essence and content of scheduled events, dedicated to the Centenary of the Armenian Genocide.

Catholicosal Vicar of United Arab Emirates and Qatar, Reverend Father Mesrop Sarkissian also delivered message.

Later, movies “The Blue Book” and “Armen” by Sherry Festekjian on the Armenian Genocide were screened.

At the end of the meeting candle-lighting ceremony was held. Nairi Babayan performed works by Armenian composers.
