On April 20, Ashot Hovakimian received newly-appointed Ambassador of Argentina to Armenia Gonsalo Urriolabeitia on the occasion of handing over copies of his credentials.

Congratulating newly-appointed Ambassador on the appointment, Deputy Foreign Minister wished success and expressed hope that the Ambassador will bring his input during the mission towards deepening of warm friendly relations between two states.

The sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation, stressed the importance of enhancement and strengthening of cooperation in range of fields.

Cooperation within international organizations, organization of mutual visits, as well issues on the Centenary of the Armenian Genocide were especially reflected on.
