On April 25, Deputy Foreign Minister Garen Nazarian received members of the German Bundestag, CDU/CSU, Manfred Grund and Volkmar Vogel, who arrived in Armenia in official delegation of Germany in the frameworks of commemorative events of the Centenary of the Armenian Genocide.

German MEPs shared impressions from the Centenary events, stressing the high level of organization of ones and their ideational orientation to the future.

The sides reflected on the developments in Germany unfolding recently on the issue of recognition of the Armenian Genocide, as well as discussions and publications. During the meeting thoughts were exchanged on the current stage and perspectives of Armenia-European Union relations. Significance was attached to the steps towards deepening and development of bilateral relations and in this context the role of legislative bodies.
