On May 24, Ambassador of Armenia to Egypt Armen Melkonian met Minister of Tourism of Egypt Khaled Ramy.

Highlighting that tourism is one of the priorities of the economic development of Armenia Ambassador Melkonian drew the Minister’s attention to the potential, projects and achievements of our country in that field.

The sides discussed perspectives of activation of tourist exchange between two countries. In this context, significance was attached to the establishment of direct flights between Armenia and Egypt in the future.

The sides also reflected on the considerable contribution by Armenian community in social and cultural life of Egypt.
