Edward Nalbandian Received the Delegation of Korea-Armenia Parliamentary Friendship Group of the Republic of Korea

On July 17 Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received the delegation of Korea-Armenia friendship group in Korean Parliament headed by Noh Young-min.

Welcoming the guests Minister Nalbandian highly appreciated the dynamically developing partnership with Korea, emphasizing that such visits contribute to the deepening of the Armenian-Korean friendly relations. Edward Nalbandian expressed gratitude for Korea's continued support to Armenia since the independence.

Expressing gratitude for the reception, the leader of Korea-Armenia Parliamentary Friendship Group Noh Young-min noted that he was pleased to visit Armenia to discuss with the partners the efforts of the parliamentarians towards strengthening of relations.

During the meeting thoughts were exchanged over the issues related to the deepening of the Armenian-Korean cooperation. Both sides attached importance to the enhancement of the legal framework.

Edward Nalbandian presented to the guests the events of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide carried out throughout the world and their meaning. Minister Nalbandian expressed gratitude to the Korea-Armenia Friendship Group for the organization of photo exhibition of the Armenian Genocide in April 2015 in the Korean Parliament, Seoul.

The Korean MP referred to his country’s stance over the developments in the Asian region, as well as to the efforts for ensuring peace in the Korean peninsula.

The Foreign Minister presented the Korean delegation about the process of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict resolution.
