On July 20 Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs - Ambassadors Igor Popov, James Warlick, Pierre Andrieu and Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk, Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office.

During the meeting discussions on the process of peaceful resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict continued. The Co-Chairs briefed Minister Nalbandian about their meetings in Washington and Moscow and touched upon their plans until the end of the year.

Edward Nalbandian, stressing that after the European Games Baku again resorts to bellicose rhetoric and provocations, drew the attention of the Co-Chairs to the cease-fire violations by the Azerbaijani armed forces across Azerbaijan-Nagorno-Karabakh line of contact carried out by various calibres of ammunitions. According to Minister Nalbandian the destructive behaviour of Azerbaijan endangers the efforts by Armenia and the Co-Chair states to move the negotiation process forward.
