On August 9 the Ambassador of Armenia to Singapore Armen Sargsyan participated at the celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of Singapore's independence.

He attended the military parade, gala concert and the official reception organized by the Singaporean Government.

Ambassador Sargsyan had a short meeting with Singaporean Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean.

During the meeting with Singapore's Foreign Minister K.Shanmugam the Ambassador conveyed to him congratulations and best wishes of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Edward Nalbandian, expressing hope that bilateral relations would further expand and develop.
