Newly-appointed Ambassador of Belarus handed over copies of his credentials to Foreign Minister of Armenia

On August 27, newly-appointed Ambassador of Belarus to Armenia Igor Nazaruk handed over copies of his credentials to Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian.

Welcoming the guest, Foreign Minister of Armenia congratulated him on his appointment as Ambassador of Belarus to Armenia, expressing hope that Ambassador Igor Nazaruk will contribute to further deepening and strengthening of the Armenian-Belarus relations.

Expressing gratitude for the reception and well wishes, the Ambassador assured that he would spare no effort to strengthen and expand the ongoing cooperation between the two states. Ambassador Nazaruk conveyed to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia greetings and well wishes of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Vladimir Makei.

Minister Nalbandian and Ambassador Nazaruk discussed joint efforts exerted for the development of trade and economic relations. Both attached importance to undertaking of further steps in this direction.

At the meeting works of the Inter-governmental Committee and inter-parliamentary ties were touched upon.

The sides exchanged thoughts over the Armenian-Belarus cooperation within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, as well as the interaction within international structures were also reflected on.
