On September 12, the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia to Canada hosted the presentation of Matthew Karanian’s “Historic Armenia: After 100 Years”.

The author of the first travel guide on Armenia Mr. Karanian is a lawyer from California, USA and has lectured in the American University of Armenia from 2002 to 2006.

Ambassador addressed the guests, presented the author and his accomplishments. Matthew Karanian presented a lecture full with photographic evidence of both, standing cultural artefacts in Historic Armenia, as well as of lost heritage. The audience hailed the presentation on six provinces of Western Armennia, crypto-Armenians and Armenian church-building traditions.

Under the auspices of the Embassy Mr. Karanian also presented his new book to the public in Montreal and Toronto.
