Minister Nalbandian had a meeting with the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office

On September 27, Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian met with Ivica Dačić, the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, the first Prime Minister of Serbia and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia.

During the meeting the sides touched upon the expansion of the Armenian-Serbian relations, the implementation of priorities of the OSCE chairmanship and the issues on the OSCE agenda.

Edward Nalbandian and Ivica Dačić expressed satisfaction with the steadily developing bilateral relations. In that regard, the sides touched upon the issues related to the opening of embassies in Yerevan and Belgrade, visa liberalization and the establishment of direct flights.

At the meeting the Ministers discussed the process of settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and in that context the Chairmanship’s support to the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs. The OSCE Chairperson-in-Office expressed deep concern about the escalation of tension in the conflict zone and attached importance to the full maintenance of the ceasefire regime.

Minister Nalbandian noted that despite the numerous appeals and warnings of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs, Azerbaijan does not refrain from its destructive behavior and provocations.
