Foreign Minister of Armenia received the Ambassador of Iran

On October 4, Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian received Mr. Mohammad Raiesi, the Ambassador of Iran to Armenia, on the occasion of completing his diplomatic mission.

Minister Nalbandian thanked Ambassador Raiesi for his productive activity towards the development of the Armenian-Iranian friendly relations. The Minister noted that during the Ambassador’s mission the Armenian-Iranian cooperation continued to deepen and expand in various fields.

Ambassador Raiesi expressed gratitude to Minister Nalbandian for the Foreign Ministry’s support during his mission and stressed with confidence that the Armenian-Iranian relations will continue to flourish in the future.

Edward Nalbandian particularly outlined the significance of the agreement on the Iranian nuclear program as an important step aimed at the strengthening of regional stability and cooperation. The Minister expressed confidence that it would serve as an additional stimulus for the expansion of trade and economic cooperation between Armenia and friendly Iran, as well as for the implementation of joint projects.

Minister Nalbandian wished Mohammad Raiesi success in his future endeavours and awarded him the medal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a symbol of his efficient activity.
