The newly appointed UK Ambassador presents the copies of her credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia

On October 5, Judith Farnworth, the newly-appointed Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Armenia, presented the copies of her credentials to the Foreign MInister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian.

Welcoming the guest, Minister Nalbandian congratulated the Ambassador on her appointment and wished success in her mission. The Minister expressed hope, that she would have her important input in the strengthening of bilateral relations and expansion of cooperation.

Expressing gratitude for the reception Ambassador Farnworth assured, that she would spare no effort towards the deepening of the Armenian-British relations.

During the meeting the sides exchanged views on the issues of bilateral agenda. In this context, they attached importance to the organisation of high-level mutual visits, holding of regular consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, as well as cooperation within the international organizations.

Minister Nalbandian and Ambassador Farnworth touched upon the Armenia-European Union cooperation, and the activities aimed at the formation of new respective legal basis.

The interlocutors exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues and the efforts being undertaken towards their resolution.
