Ministerial Conference of La Francophonie will be held in Armenia

On October 10-11, the 31st session of the Conference of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF) will be held in Yerevan, Armenia.

On behalf of Edward Nalbandian, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Mankeur Ndiaye, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Senegal presiding at the International Organization of La Francophonie, and Michaëlle Jean, Secretary General of the International Organization of La Francophonie invitations on participation were sent to the ministers of foreign affairs of the OIF member and observer states, which includes 80 countries from 5 continents. In general, around 500 representatives of member-states and the Secretariat of the International Organization of La Francophonie will arrive in Yerevan to participate in the conference.

During the conference issues on the OIF agenda, international and regional actual problems will be discussed, and relevant resolutions will be adopted.

The conference will be followed by the official visit of Michaëlle Jean, Secretary General of the International Organization of La Francophonie to Armenia.

Within the framework of Ministerial Conference, a rich cultural program will be organized. As the main event, the concert of Charles Aznavour will take place on October 10 at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex.

Music bands from France and Haiti will arrive in Armenia and will perform in Yerevan.

At the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex, where the Ministerial Conference will be held, pavilions presenting the Armenian tourism, IT sector, culture, as well as exhibitions on the Armenian products will be organized.
