The newly appointed Ambassador of Vietnam presents the copies of his credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia

On October 5, Nguyen Thanh Son, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Armenia (residence in Moscow), presented the copies of his credentials to Edward Nalbandian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.

Congratulating the Ambassador on his appointment, Minister Nalbandian expressed hope that he would greatly contribute to the further development of the Armenian-Vietnamese friendly relations.

Expressing gratitude for the reception and best wishes Ambassador Thanh Son noted that Vietnam is interested in the expansion and development of cooperation with Armenia and outlined that he would spare no effort to broaden bilateral cooperation in various fields.

Ambassador Son emphasized, that he remembers with warmth his years spent in Armenia as a student, his teachers who played an important role in his professional studies.

During the meeting the interlocutors discussed the ways of further development of the bilateral relations in different fields. They touched upon the issues on the intensification of trade and economic relations, educational and scientific exchanges, as well as holding of consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, establishment of inter-parliamentary ties, expansion of legal framework and cooperation within the international organizations.
