On October 9, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Mauritius Jagdish Dharamchand Koonjul.
Welcoming the guest, Armenia's Foreign Minister expressed gratitude for the participation at the Conference of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the International Organization of La Francophonie, and emphasized that he enjoyed the opportunity to visit Mauritius and has fond memories from the visit.

Expressing gratitude for the warm reception, Secretary for Foreign Affairs Koonjul mentioned that he is very glad to visit Yerevan, which creates an opportunity to discuss issues of bilateral relations. In this context, importance was attached to the development of bilateral ties and organization of mutual visits.

The Ministers exchanged thoughts on the formation of legal framework, collaboration within international organizations, trade and economic ties, establishment of cultural exchange.

Addressing the climate change was touched upon, in this regard the sides attached significance to the upcoming Summit to-be-held in Paris, at the end of November.
