On October 11, Edward Nalbandian, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, met Saliou Akadiri, Minister of Foreign Affairs and African Integration of Benin on the sidelines of the session of the Conference of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF).

Welcoming the guest, Armenia’s FM expressed gratitude for the participation at the OIF Ministerial Conference, stressing that it enables an exchange of thoughts also on the development of bilateral relations.

Thanking for the high level of organization of the Conference and invitation to visit Armenia, Saliou Akadiri mentioned that many Armenians live in his country, who contribute to the development of Benin.

The Ministers reflected on the development of relations in political, economic and cultural areas and, in this context, agreed to pay mutual visits, draw up and prepare respective intergovernmental documents for signing.
