On October 11, Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian met Raymond Tshibanda N’Tunga Mulongo, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), who arrived in Armenia to participate at the 31st session of the Conference of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF).

Welcoming the guest, FM Edward Nalbandian mentioned that he has fresh memories from his visit to Kinshasa three years ago, the capital of Democratic Republic of Congo, to partake at the OIF Summit.

Expressing gratitude to the Minister for hosting of the Conference and high-level of its organization, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the DRC emphasized that his visit creates firm ground for the development of bilateral ties.

The Ministers stated with confidence that the establishment of diplomatic relation today would give new impetus to the cooperation.

Signing of the Protocols on the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between to states followed the meeting.
