On October 15, the joint Armenian-German IT-Forum took place in the Headquarter of “Deutsche Telekom” in Berlin. The event was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia, the Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations of Germany and the German-Armenian Forum.

Remarks were delivered by Emil Tarasyan, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, Andreas Goerdeler, Head of IT and Development Policy Department of the German Federal Ministry of Economy and Energy, Rainer Lindner, Executive Director of the Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations and Albert Weiler, Chairman of the German-Armenian Forum. Representatives of the Armenian IT companies made presentations on the prospects and main goals of the Armenian IT Sector and answered the numerous questions.

Representatives of German Federal ministry of Economy and Energy, as well as several foundations and German IT Companies attended the Forum.
